Our 2021 annual review of work recommended the recruitment of a consulting firm or person to lead the analysis and review of ongoing social enterprise models at NiV for indigenous people. Among the 5 shortlisted strong consulting firms, EPS won the job, and honestly, as the head, I was skeptical at first, but the services from EPS have completely transformed my organization. Their diligent work has helped NiV’s revolving social credit fund (now FIPA Fund) to be more structured with key professional documentation systems and processes that are more appealing to investors and partners and has even made work more efficient within the shortest possible time. We now have a credit appraisal memo, loan approval sheet, marketing document, and concept paper that have continued to provide direction towards critical next steps and sustainability. EPS Management Consulting supported our school, Adesoye College, Offa with their business consulting services, which included bookkeeping and accounting and preparing financial statements for four years. They reviewed our internal processes and advised on many areas of our operations, including outsourcing some parts of our operations such as kitchen management and gardening. Tunde, in particular, developed a budgeting process for the school, worked with heads of unit to guide in the preparation of the budget, organized several meetings to address challenges, and ensured the budget was presented to the board. It is important to say that he did not bill the school for the extra work he did on creating a budgeting process and developing a budget, which was not included in the assignment we engaged EPS to deliver.
